Challenge/Ropes Course Training School
Are you happy with the way your staff is being trained? When your staff is finished with their training, are they certified instructors? Would you like for them to be certified? The RCI provides each instructor trainee a unique type of class and curriculum resulting in a certified instructor.

Our Certification Classes
Low Element 101 - 1 day / 10 hrs / 8am to 8 pm
COST = $90 per person
Techniques and applications on how to facilitate a group through a multi-element course. The curriculum will focus on safety, group dynamics, spotting and more. The sequence of events will be stretching, games, initiatives, low elements, processing, and more.
High Element 201 - 4 days / 40 hrs. / 8am to 8 pm
COST = $195 per person
Techniques and applications on how to facilitate a group through a multi-element course. The curriculum will focus on safety, equipment set-up, belaying, care and maintenance, three E's, rescue procedures, and more.
Complete Certification 301 - 5 days/ 50 hrs/ 8am to 8 pm
COST = $295 Per person
This is a complete combined class which includes Low Element 101 & High Element 201. This class is recommended for all instructor trainees who work on a Challenge/Ropes Course.
To recieve certification, each Instructor trainee must pass a series of tests based on skills with a minimum score of 80%, and a series of written exams with a minimum score of 85% on each. Then they must pass a comprehensive final with a minimum score of 85%. Each person who passes these high standards will receive certification. This certification is good for one year and can be renewed each year by taking a Re-Certification class.
Re-Certification
To be re-certified, you need to have taken one of the above classes in addition to one below:

Camps/Schools Group Certification Class
We can also do group certification classes at your Challenge/Ropes Course at a fee of $500.00 a day. Most trainings will last two (2) to four (4) days depending on the type and number of elements that you have at your camp/school.
